Welcome to the documentation for the Prounveil WordPress Theme. This guide will help you install, configure, and customize your theme.
Installation
- Log in to your account: My Account
- Download the theme from the Downloads section.
- Go to your WordPress Admin →
Appearance → Themes → Add New → Upload Theme. - Upload the ZIP file, then click Install and Activate.
Recommended Plugins
After activating the theme, you’ll be prompted to install these plugins:
- Prounveil Gallery (required)
- Prounveil Portfolio (required)
- Prounveil Video Gallery (required)
- Classic Editor (required)
- WooCommerce (optional)
Demo Installation
Quickly set up your site like the demo:
- Go to
Appearance → Import Demo Data. - Click Import Demo Data and wait for completion.
Menu Setup
Create a menu with custom links for AJAX navigation:
- Home → URL:
#home, Class:home - About → URL:
#about, Class:about - Portfolio → URL:
#portfolio, Class:portfolio - Gallery → URL:
#gallery, Class:gallery - Videos → URL:
#video-gallery, Class:video-gallery - Blog → URL:
#blog, Class:blog - Contact → URL:
#contact, Class:contact
Customizer Settings
Use Appearance → Customize to configure:
- Profile, About Me, Personal Info, Skills, Services, Clients, Stats, Testimonials
- Gallery & Video Gallery selection
- Google Fonts (body, headings, brand)
- Colors & Background (image, color, gradient)
- Blog & WooCommerce sidebar settings
- Footer social icons & copyright
Photo Gallery
Create categories (no child categories), upload images, and assign them. Categories appear as filters in the frontend gallery.
Video Gallery
Add videos one by one with URL, thumbnail, and category. Categories appear as filters in the frontend video gallery.
Portfolio
Create categories, then add portfolios with title, description, featured image, and gallery images. Categories are used as filters on the frontend.
Blog
Create categories, then add posts with title, content, featured image, and categories.
License Activation
- Log in to your account at prounveil.com and visit your license keys page to copy your license key(s).
- Next, log in to your WordPress admin dashboard and navigate to
Appearance → Theme License. - Enter your License Key along with the Order Email.
- Finally, click Activate License to complete the process.
